Last weekend we were delighted to cater a dinner party for 12 people to celebrate a 50th birthday at the clients home in Ockley, Surrey.
We just received this wonderful feedback and had to share it with you:
"Free Range Cooks catered my 50th birthday dinner this weekend and did an absolutely fabulous job.
Everything looked and tasted amazing from the scrummy canapés through to the overflowing cheese board. They even remained unfazed by the Aga. The kitchen was left lovely and clean a real plus the following morning. The only hard part was choosing which of their lovely menu options to go with. So pleased we used them for this special occasion and wouldn’t hesitate using them in the future."
The menu was...
Canapés
-Thai fish cakes with chilli dressing. -Parmesan beignets with tomato chutney. -Seared Steak with celeriac remoulade.
Starter
-Seared mackerel with warm potato salad, horseradish creme fraiche, capers and shallot.
Main
-Balsamic glazed blade of beef with chorizo and charred shallot.
Dessert
-Chocolate orange ganache with honeycomb and caramelised orange.
Cheeseboard
-Selection of fine cheeses, chutneys and delicious accompaniments.
We supplied one waiter for the night and two chefs who cooked the food and cleared down the kitchen at the end of the night.
