Last Saturday we had a great time catering Eastwick schools' PTA summer party at Effingham Rugby Club. We served Jerk chicken, prawn jambalaya, flat breads and a Jamaican style slaw with lime and honey.

Lovely Claire, who organised the event, was kind enough to send the following feedback:

Hi Rich,
I wanted to say thank you for the brilliant catering on Saturday. Everyone was waxing lyrical about how good it was. Really delicious!
I made sure people took the leftover tray bake pudding too and I had the last brownie last night!  It was delicious! I picked up the savoury leftover too, I hate food waste!

Really great to have you again and so easy and simple to work with you.
Hopefully our paths cross again.
Claire

Thanks so much Claire and everyone who attended for creating such a fun event. I greatly look forward to working with you again in the future.

Sutton Community Farm's is situated on a beautiful 7.1 acre smallholding with views towards the skyline of central London, making it the perfect backdrop for our event.

The pop up will be a fantastic opportunity to sample their VegBox service, which delivers fresh, seasonal vegetables all over South London.

Last year over 17 tonnes of veg was grown on the 7 acre farm in Wallington, South London to go into the VegBoxes.

Crops include favourites like tomatoes, cucumbers, spinach and kale and also more unusual and colourful vegetables such as rainbow chard and cavolo nero.

The flexible, convenient service allows customers to order a seasonal selection, or to order specific items to be delivered to their door.

Additional vegetables and fruit, sourdough and eggs are sourced from other suppliers. Income from the VegBox service supports the community owned farm to provide volunteering opportunities, educational visits and land based employment.
